Here you can see the components for the bottom right side of the door. I use a print out of the CAD drawing of the bottom of the door as a guide. And because I'm doing two doors, I go ahead a make two of every element, to speed up the process.  So even though this is a unique one a kind project there are ways of taking a production approach to the making and manipulating of the components.

Once all the leaves and components are manipulated, all that's left to do is make the scrolls and attach the components. And just like the smaller top elements, the larger bottom sections are assembled in an aluminum frame the exact size as the opening in the door.
